whats the PH of sweat and amniotic fluid? ne stories of nitrizine strips but also negative other tests

im 31 weeks and i went into dr. because i was really wet, like had to change my clothes twice wet-but there wasn’t an smell to it-like urine-they did the nitrizine test(the strip) it was positive-and they tested my vagina(the lips and outer portions), my underwear,around my vagina(crevices around legs) and pad and it came up positive but once they did the test using a swab from inside my cervix it said negative-they told me that if i get really wet again enough to fill up maxi then to go to labor and delivery,

she said it was possible i could have a high leak- but it puzzled doctors and nurses because i had all positive nitrizine(strip tests) but negative tests from the inside-she tested the area around my vagina and it was positive but again the tests done with the microscope and inside the vagina were negative-

anyone else have this happen to them?if so what were the results-did you end up soaking through maxis and going to hospital later if so how long after testing positive on strips–she said she thought it could be my sweat thats making it register as positive- i dotn know though if sweat has the same PH and if it doesnt should i start packing my bags- just in case i do fill up the maxi-i knwo your not drs. and such but if i have a problem i will go to the dr. im just curuios-oh my friend who is a pro at having kids has had positive test strips and negative inside and only to wait and go to hospital and test a day later and it be positive-she seemed kinda concerned for me-oh this is my first and i am 31 weeks-i went in not only for cramping but because i had so much fluid down there-oh i had a sonogram and the fluid wasn’t low-oh and yesterday when i noticed the first amount of fluid i was inside in well air conditioned house- same thing today-its too hot in Texas to be outside-i apologize for the length and i tried typing some of this shorthand-i hope i get some replies-

oh does sweat and amniotic fluid have the same Ph?

if it does why would it be the only area i was wet in-? i wasnt wet at the wasitline or above pubic area only wet down there?

if it doesnt share the same PH what can i expect?

should i pack my bags?

how long after getting positive external nitrizine strip did it take to get positive internal tests?

This is my first baby

The tub was cleaned filled and then had to be drained shortly after. i would imagine anything leftover from the cleaner would have been dissolved the first time it was filled. it was refilled two days ago and yesterday when i began testing the water to try and balance it the PH was very high. according to the test strips it was over 8.4 and it took a lot of muriatic acid to bring it down to around 7.8. Our water is very hard so we fill the tub with water from our water softener (salt) and there is a lot of calcium in the water thanks to the limestone. I tested the water coming out of the hose that we used to fill the tub and the PH was around 7. and the PH is always high when we fill the tub. any ideas??

is there any other way besides the strips?

OK so I’m the new pool boy here and have the little Spa to tend to. Just 400 gallons of water to babysit. Test strip came up
FCI = 0 ALK = 80 PH = 7.8 CH = 100
Have Ozone and trying to do a Nature 2 enzyme system.
So what Chemical Balance do I need to know.
And any hot links?

My 20 gal aquarium has a very low PH (5-5.5). Not really registering on my test strips… It’s live planted and has driftwood. I’ve tried water changes and it didn’t work. I just added some seashells to try and raise the Ph…the Ph at the store said not to use it on live planted aquariums. I’ve had the aquarium since October and the 3 fish I had in it died of ick 3 weeks ago…would like to add new fish now but since the Ph is so low, I don’t know what the ideal fish would be. Would love to have Angels if at all possible (the tank may be to small)
