if you could give further information this would help. which indicator did you use.
depends which indicator you used. but from what i have learnt. nature of soap is a base.

Soaps are basic; they’re made with fatty acids and a very very strong base. Most of it is neutralized during saponification, but some base remains. (This is what gives it the “slippery” feeling.
Assuming you’re using an universal indicator, green = base. But not matter what you’re using; soap is base.
